The functioning of ScentOils

ScentOils are easy to use. The stone in the oil burner has a catalytic effect that allows the scent to spread. Light the oil burner and let it burn for about three minutes. Then blow out the flame and let the room fill with a delightful scent. The stone has become very hot due to the flame and will therefore glow for a while. The evaporated fragrance oil is what emits the delightful scent. With a bottle of ScentOil of 475ml, you can enjoy the scent for about twenty hours. It's best to replace the stone once a year or after 200 burning hours for optimal functioning of your ScentOils. Always stay near the oil burner when it's burning and make sure to place it on a stable surface.

Varying with fragrance oil

Varying with fragrance oil is easy; you can use the same oil burner for multiple ScentOils. You can alternate with fragrance oil in the following three ways:

1. Remove the wick from the oil and let it dry on some kitchen paper for about a day.
2. You can also purchase a separate wick for each perfume oil. This way, you can ensure that the scents don't mix.
3. The third option is to fill the oil burner with our Neutral Note fragrance. Let this fragrance burn for about half an hour, then the previous scent is virtually neutralized. The Neutral Note is also suitable for adjusting the strength of any fragrance oil. Add a little of this neutral scent to soften the scent of your home perfume.

Although using our oil burners is safe and does not require any additional knowledge or equipment, it's good to know that you can take certain precautions to ensure optimal safety. Observe the following rules of thumb to safely use the product:

• Never place the bottle of ScentOil next to the oil burner while igniting the burner.
• Never place the bottle of ScentOil near a heat source.
• Do not place the oil burner near easily flammable materials.
• Always close the bottle of ScentOil tightly after use to prevent the alcohol in the oil from evaporating.
• When extinguishing the oil burner, hold the burner at the bottom.
